We are located at 6120 Mason Hill Rd. in McHenry, IL.

Sunday worship services are at 8:30 and 10:30am. Both services are identical in content and style, with children's ministry for 0-5 available at both. We also have children's ministry for infants-5th grade, student ministry for 6-12th grade, and an adult Bible class from 9:45 - 10:15am. (Doors open at 9:30am for children's and student ministry.)

Stop by the Connect Center, which is right in front of you as you enter the building. Here you can meet one of our hosts who can direct you where to go and answer any questions that you have.

If you would like to visit us but aren't ready to connect with people, we totally get that! There is no pressure to fill out our "plan your visit" form or stop by the Connect Center. Whatever makes your experience the best and you most comfortable! Come in, grab some coffee, find a seat, and enjoy the service!

Between Worship Services

The Rock Children's Ministry meets between services for infants through 5th grade. Doors open at 9:30am. Programming runs 9:45-10:15. This time is directly geared towards helping your kids meet Jesus and grow in their faith in age-specific ways. Come to the back of the coffeehouse (under the big Rock Kids sign).

Boulder Student Ministry for 6-12th grade also meets from 9:45-10:15am. Look for the Boulder banner by the fireplace when you enter the coffeehouse. We're just a quick walk down the hall. 

During Worship Services

First, we encourage you to bring school-aged kids to worship with you! Don't underestimate the power of what God does when families worship together and the impact an "adult service" can have on the spiritual development of younger generations. They'll quickly catch the groove. You can also pick up an activity bag at The Rock Check-In to help keep them occupied. 

What about infants and toddlers? There's a few options!

The Rock Children's Ministry offers kid-based ministry during both our worship services for kids, 0-5. Because let's face it. Sometimes our littlest ones need more playtime with games and activities directly geared to them. (And parents, we know sometimes it's nice to catch a little bit of a break!)

Some parents like to bring their infants and toddlers into worship with them. Cool! Don't worry if they're a little ansty. It's part of worshiping together.

If they start to get a bit more than "ansty," no worries. You can check them into the Rock at anytime. Or, consider our coffeehouse seating during our 10:30 service. We also have "living rooms" in the back with comfortable chairs for parents needing a bit of quiet with younger kids and infants.

Our hosts are here to help you. Find anyone with a lanyard and nametag and they can get you where you need to go.

Our worship style is modern, contemporary, and family-friendly. We have a worship band and utilize various forms of multimedia from projection, lighting, and videos to enhance our time of worship. There is a message from our pastor in every service, time for prayer, and we typically have communion every other week. Services typically last 60-70 minutes. 

Dress how you'd like, whether that's casual clothes, comfy sweatpants, or your Sunday best.

Our hosts at the Connect Center would be happy to direct you to various ministry areas or leaders. Dave, our senior pastor, is usually floating around the Connect Center after services. He's also available to meet you and answer any questions.
